Nars "Pillow Talk" Lip Gloss

Nars "pillow talk" Lip gloss I know this may sound mad but because i don't get on with lipsticks/glosses I haven't ever had a Nars lip gloss so this is my 1st one which i brought from imats. This one is called pillow talk and i love it. It is not to bright and not too dark. It doesn't have a smell, well i don't think any way. The packaging is nice and easy to use and the same with all lip glosses you can get. I really enjoy using this lip gloss as it doesn't make dry and stays on for a while. You can wear this lip gloss when ever and where ever. I love wearing this at the weekend or in the evening just to add a bit more of a look to my make up and also if you are wearing not much make up it also add's to your look. This is just a natural colour and you can wear it with anything. I will be buying more Nar's Lip glosses in the future i can be sure of that! St. Tropez Gradual Tan Reviw

I love this stuff.

St.tropez gradual tan is an every day moisturiser. The big bottle is for your body and smaller bottle is for you face.I use this every other day on my face and body, this way i keep up the tanned looked. 

I know that we all forget to moisturiser everyday and you may forget to ten before a night out but this does in it in on. If you apply this every other day you get a nice tanned looked and your also moisturisering your skin. This moisturiser does work. I found that it make my skin really soft and moist and it tans aswell so i was very happy.  

The big bottle is 200ml and it last a while, i have got legs and arms out of it already and theres still a bit left and the smaller face bottle is a 50ml and it still has a bit left and going strong. 

It does have a strong smell on biscuit as some tans do, but apart from that i found that it drys within 2 mins. I find this easy to apply even though you can see where you have applied it, if you just make sure you have covered all the area that you want to it comes out fine. You don't need much of this as it does go a long way. It's a white cream so you can kind of see where you have put it but it goes transparent once rub in so you have to make sure you cover all over.

I found that on my neck it didn't work very well but i think this is my fault as applied it and didn't keep my neck still and i was moving my head around.

Just beware after apply this was your hands and make sure you rub it in well and blend with hair line and your fingers, otherwise you get a tan line!

Overall i thought this was a very good product and i will keep using it and purchase it again.

Its Friday!

I would love to have flawless skin all the time but I just don't have time to keep up with it.

If you want nice skin you must to remember to have a skin routine that you do every day!

1. First you must cleanse. Don't cut out any of your face, you must cover all areas. It might be quicker by face wipes but it's not the same unless it's your last resort. Use a cream or liquid that suits you and your skin. The one which i love to use is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser which you can buy on there web page or in John Lewis for around £13. After this you can tone if you would like but it's not essential.

You must exfoliate you skin regularly. This helps to get rid of the build-up of dead or dry skin cells on the surface. This helps make your skin a lot smoother and fresher and also helps with tan as-well. There are a load of exfoliators out there so take you pick. The one I like to use is the St. Moriz which you can get from your local tesco for around £2.99 and i find that this last forever and its also cheap.

Now spots are a pain and a girls worst night mare! 

I know that you can get creams and gels for spots, so if you are on of them why not trey them out and see what happens. 

Also another night mare is pores. You need to make sure you clean these well and give them a really good cleansing. I like using the Soap & Glory Pore Mask which i find really helps. You can pick this up in your boots or superdrug for around £5.

Remember you skin needs hydration everyday! You must not forget to moisture your skin and drink plenty of water. I love doing this, it just makes my face feel all nice and soft. I like using the nip & fab moisturiser which i think is around £4 and last your forever!

Bags under you'r eyes look horrible. Why not try using a serum to fade or get rid of them. They make you look like you are wide awake and had lots of sleep and just makes you look a bit more healthier. I always used to get told that used tea bags or cold spoons would get rid of them but i don't know if that is true or if its an old wife tall. If you have tryed this let me know if it works or not please. 

Once to twice a week you could treat your skin to a face mask just to give it that extra boost it needs.

Oh yes its Monday again!

This is true. You may say something to someone and they may doubt you but once you have done something about it they are going to believe you.

I told someone that i was doing beauty course's and they doubted me but once i had done them and showed them i had done it they believed me.

Things like this happen. There are people out there who doubt people all the time and want believe them until you have something to show them for it but that's just how people are and you have to get use to it.

Its Friday Tanning Tips

Happy Friday Everyone!

This week is about tan. Ohh how us girls like to tan in the sun or fake tan.

Tips on how to get a good fake tan.

TIP 1 : Make sure you keep you skin in good condition. Use a moisturiser every day after you get out of the shower and before you go to bed. Make sure you get every dry area.

TIP 2: Exfoliate! yes i know people always say this ! But by scrubbing you skin it helps it get rid of all the dead skin and cleans it. By doing this it allows the tan to just sit nicely on even skin and wont be patchey. 

TIP 3: If someone is spray tanning you make sure they are wearing gloves. If you are applying it to yourself make sure you are wearing a good tanning mitt. If you are not you will end up with orange tinted palms and you won't be able to hide them! 

TIP 4:  Tanning your back is the most hardest thing to do on your own so make sure you have someone there to do it for you.

TIP 5: Your hair line and eyebrows are going to get tan on if you don't put a bit of Vaseline on them. this will prevent any doggy tide marks appearing.

TIP 6: After a tan make sure you wear dark loose clothing. This will prevent white lines appearing on your skin as your clothing will be loose and it won't show up on your dark clothing.

 TIP 7: Orange palms? Don't worry there is a solution. You can get tan remover which you can rub in to your hands and just use a wipe to remove tan. St Tropez)

TIP 8: Once your tan has developed and your happy You can't stop there. You have to maintain it by making sure you give it a gentle exfoliate and lots of moisturizing. If you want to stay glowing for longer top up your tan.

TIP 9: Getting a spray tan? Make sure you wear sticky feet if you want to avoid have orange feet and make sure that they are stuck down well. 

TIP 10: It may be obvious but you hair up or wear a hair net. You don't won't to get tan in your hair. 

Hurst Castle

Me and My boyfriend wen to visit my auntie and uncle at the weekend.

I was amazing weather, nice and hot and no rain! We went to Hurt castle which was amazing, My Boyfriend and uncle loved it. Its like any boys dream. They decided to run up and down stairs, climb in holes and look at guns and cannons.

You can walk along what they call "the spit" which is about a mile long and as you can see from the picture above it has some amazing both sides. It was just so nice to walk on a load of gravel through the sea and just have the sound of the waves and the sun out. if you don't want to walk you can always get a ferrie there and back which is on a cute little boat.

I loved it here. Its nice a relaxing and just a nice place to come and chill surrounded by the sea with a lovely view.

Healthy Hair

Everyone wants good looking hair so here are some tips for keeping you hair look fab!

Start of with healthy hair. 

There is no point trying to make your hair look nice and healthy when its not. Chop every inch of hair of which is damaged.

Get it trimmed every 12 weeks

By getting you hair trimmed every 12 weeks it gets rid of all the split ends and it will help your hair grow a lot quicker.

DON'T wash your hair everyday

By washing you hair everyday, its gets rid of all the natural oils that you body produces. You should wash you hair once or twice a week. I know this may sound silly but its not. I was my hair twice a week. 

Spend money on products

The more you spend on them the better they are. if you are going to spend £2 on products, they are not going to help you hair. Give you hair a hair mask once in a while treat it.

Avoid heat when possible

Do you really need to dry you hair with a hairdryer every time you wash it?

If you can't keep away from it then use something that will protect your hair from the heat.

Don't wash you hair with hot water

I got told this by one off my friends. By using super hot water just gets rid of all the moisture from you head.

Swimming

If you go swimming a lot make sure you have a shower before and make sure that you hair is all wet!

By doing this it won't soak as much chlorine up.

Another tip that i have just found out, is if you wear a hair cap when swimming wet you hair then put conditioner on your hair and just out the hair came on. This way you are not drying out your hair and your getting a good deep long condition.

I have decide that every Monday i am going to give you a quote of some sort to help you get through the week. Every Friday I am going to give you a weekend tip.

What does this mean? Do I do this?

Every one does this. Everyone of us does this and I bet there is that one person reading this now shacking their head saying no i don't but your wrong you do. Everyone has a dream in there life, this could be anything from getting a new job, starting a family, traveling, anything. 

You can't just run away from your fear, run away from what your scared of you HAVE to chase it, chase your dream go and get it before it's to late. 

I know this may sound bad but as you get older you have less chance of making your dream come true and if you just run away from it all the time its never going to and as you get older you will regret it and wish you had done it but it would have been to late. I have always been told that if I want something I have to go and get it, even if it takes me weeks or even months I will get there in the end and that I have.

When I left school I wanted to do childcare and I did and completed that know after two years of doing that I changed my mind and what to do beauty. At first I din't think I could do it, i thought that everything was going to go wrong and i wasn't going to be very good at it. The longer I thought and left it, every min and second i was getting older and older and i knew if i wanted it that badly i would have to go and get it. Now I have nearly completed my dream at last! I am half way there, I have done nearly all my courses I need to do and the last big step for me now is the last course which could take me so far in life and that is what i want. I want to be out there in the world, meet new people, learn new skills. I want my dream and I am going to get it!

Don't be scared in chasing your dream. If you want it, you have to fight for it. It may take a while but as long as you keep going strong and don't run away you will get there in the end. Even if you need help along the way, its fine. Any one can do this.

YOU CAN DO IT. DON'T BE SCARED. CHASE YOUR DREAM. MAKE IT COME TRUE.
BE POSITIVE ABOUT YOUR SELF. YOU CAN DO IT.

It's Friday!

It's Friday and don't we all know it.

It's time for all us girls to come home from work and relax! 

Every Women should have a Friday evening routine that you can do every Friday so that you are relaxed and feeling refreshed for the weekend ahead whether your really busy or just lazying around.

Every Friday after work I know I like to come home from work and just relax and have a pamper session where I  can just have time to myself and just forget about the week at work.

Every Friday I like to make sure that I have a nice relaxing pamper session. I just like to have a nice warm bubble bath, light a candle and just put a face pack on and just cleanse, exfoliate and polish and wash my hair. After having a bath and getting in my nice comfy jogging bottoms and baggy top I like to pluck my eyebrows if need then moisture the dry bits such as my knees, heels, elbows and my face so that they are nice and soft. After mosturising I like to give my hair a quick blow dry and just tie it up in a bun. Once that is all done I like to just get rid of any nail polish I have on and just give my finger nails a nice little manicure  , so getting rid of any cuticle skin which is lose or looks horrible and just giving my nails a really nice file. Then I like to find a really nice colour for both my fingers a toes and just apply a bottom clear coat and then the colour I have chosen and then a final clear top coat. After all this is done I give it an hour or two then apply my tan and for this I do two coats. The reason for this is if I apply my ten straight after I get out of the bath all my pores and that are open so it wouldn't work so by waiting a couple of hours it give my pores time to close.

There all done and ready for Saturday morning after having a early night

I love this. Its is ideal for a greasy spot prone or problem skin. You can use this on your nose, chin or t-zone and it works a treat. 

Rub a grape size amount into your troubled area in circles until the green balls has dissolved.

I normally leave this on for five mins, sometimes even fifteenth if i really want a deep cleanse. Then just rise of with warm water then after I just use a moisturiser. 

I find that this really helps and just get rid of all the rubbish out of the troubles areas. It makes your black heads less noticeable.  I just love a good face mask which just helps get ride of all the rubbish that is in your skin. I just love having one day where I can just relax and pamper myself. 

I would recommend this to any one who has trouble with oily skin, breakouts or blackheads as this really helps and just gives your skin a total cleanse.

This product is amazing ! It's a cream which is meant to encourage calm and balance the skin.
All you need is a pea size amount on your finger and just rub in it all over your face. If i don't use the Liz Earle moitsuriser I will use this. This just hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling amazing and refreshed.

I found that this Balancing face Moisturiser if good for dry skin, as i get dry skin around my nose area  I found that it really helped it. It just give me a really good coverage and you can even wear it under your make-up.

I would recommend this for any one who has dry skin.

Argan Oil

Cosmopolitan May issue had a free product called total treat argan oil from phil smith. The product is for dry, coloured and damages hair. it claims to be a hair transforming cream that leaves you with unbelievably silky texture hair.

This is a great product,I use it everyday just by putting a pea size amount on to my fingers and rubbing it in to the ends of my hair and already I can see a difference and by only using a pea size amount means that it will last much longer. I have died my hair and its damaged and dry. Using this argan oil really does help it, not only does it smell nice but its easy to use. After using this my hair just feels so much more healthy and just so smooth and soft. Using this argan oil has just given my hair the moisture that it needs

Most people would think it being an oil it would be liquid but it's not, it is atcully a cream.

I will be purchasing this product again when it runs out as I love it and it does wonders for my hair. 

Sleek Palette

I love these two palettes. 1 Brights Ultra Mattes i-Divine contains 12 pure matte shades And V2 Darks Ultra Mattes i-Divine contains 12 pure matte shades.

The colours on these palettes are just so nice and pigmented. I can't get enough of them. They are just so nice and easy to use. They stay on well and also just nice colours. I haven't used the bright colours as much as the darker ones, as i don't tend to use bright colours on my eyes. 

I would recommend these two palettes to any one who loves using eye shadows and experimenting with different colours.

Spray Tan

A girls always need a Spray Tan now and again.

I love spray tanning. In the winter months you always need a good spray tan just to give you that radiant glow.

The two most tan's I use are the sienna x express tanning mist and the st. tropez spray leg tan.

Sienna X Express Tanning Mist is a easy tan to you. All you do is just shake the can before you use it and then just spray it on. It only take 2 hours to develop so it is an easy tan to use if your in a rush to go on a night out. I just love using this tan as it develops quickly and you can see where you spray it.

The St.Tropez leg spray tan is fab! it develops quickly and you can see where the spray is going. Its a really nice glowing tan which you can just spray on your legs and it doesn't look fake. It looks like you have just been on a hot sunny holiday. I love this tan just to spray on my legs.

Scandal Eyes Mascara

This Volume flash scandal eyes mascara from Rimmel London is one of the best mascara's I have had.

I must own around three of these mascara's. They are just so good and they do the work for you.

The brush on this mascara wand may look like it will leave your lashes sticking together with lumps of mascara in them but it doesn't. The wand separates the lashes and makes them look fuller and longer, it just gives you that false lash effect.

The packaging for this mascara really stands out as it bright orange.

I would diffidently recommended this mascara to any one with small/short lashes and just wants a more volume and fuller

Beauty Show

I can not wait till Sunday 22^nd and Monday 23^rd September 2013 which is when me and my friend will be descending upon the Grand Hall, Olympia, London for the UK’s premier beauty trade exhibition.

I am so excited. If you are qualified in beauty or just love beauty, you will love this exhibition.
I remember going to professional beauty last year and omg it was amazing i brought so much beauty products which i am still using and everything is like half the price it is normally. You can see so many demonstration and meet and talk to so many people about different products and  just actually see and test them there and then. Also you can find out about so many courses and what they are like.

I just love going to theses shows because i am a beauty therapist i get to learn so much and just get to find and test new products.

Apocalips Lip gloss from Rimmel

  I love this colour from the new Apocalips Lip gloss from Rimmel.

I have only had this colour for a week now i just wanted to test this colour before i wrote a review about it.


This product has it pros and cons. The packing it comes in is really nice and the colours of them are very pigmented, glossy and just nice colours. The cons are that especially this colour it doesn't stay on for as long as you would like it to and i found that on my lips its left a line across my lips, i don't know if that was because i didn't use a brush or if it just does that anyway.

This lip gloss doesn't really have a smell, it just smells of flowers but it's not strong enough so that when you put it on your lips you can smell it which i find is good.I found that this is the only lip gloss which doesn't make my lips go dry and found that it is really soft and nice.
When opening this product it is easy enough to open its just a screw on and of lip with a lip brush applicator on which is really to use.

The packaging is really nice. You can see the colour of the lip gloss at the bottom and then it has the name of the brand and the name of the product and it has a really nice snazzy lid which i love. It's like a crystal kind of effect.This product is the perfect size to put in a make-up bag or handbag. It's just the right size.

This product works for me. I've found a lip gloss which doesn't make my lips go dry and stays  on for a couple of hours and just looks really natural on.

I would recommend this to any one. This is a nice easy use lip gloss and i would buy it again.

New Coat

Just Brought this lovely Khaki Contrast Sleeve Coat

I love it! you can get in three different other colours. I just like the leather selves it has on it, it just makes the coat so more stylish. 

I got this coat in a size eight when i first tried this coat on in this size I thought it was a bit to big but these coats are meant to be oversize. So if you where going to buy this coat you can still stick to your normal size as they are meant to be a bit big.

I got this coat from new look for around £20 which it was reduced from £45 which I think is a good bargin ! : )

March fav's

                                                       Thing's I liked in March.

I know this is a bit late but I have been changing my blog over and i thought i would just put this up so my blog wouldn't look so empty and you guys atcully have something to read.

I only got my march glossy box a couple weeks ago but in it was Elisabeth Arden eight hour cream which i love. I use this on my lips all the time and it just makes them so soft and glossy. I would recommend this! Next thing which i have enjoyed using this month is scandal eyes mascara from rimmel which is just so good i love using this mascara is just makes my eyelash's look so much longer. Prime Time from bare minerals which i use before i use any of my make up, this just leaves my skin feeling really nice and soft and just ready for the next step. I have got two nail varnish's which i have liked using this month and they are fiji from Essie which i love, its just a real natural colour and 338 silver multi glitter which i love, it just adds a little sprinkle of glitter to everything. The last three things i have loved using this month are the Liz Earle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser, followed by the Liz Earle instant boost skin tonic and then the Liz Earle Skin repair moisturiser, all three of these products after using them they just make me feel so more refreshed in the morning and all nice and clean and ready for bed at night.They just leave my skin feeling nice and smooooothhh : )
